This campground is a fantastic spot for families and pet owners alike! The atmosphere is friendly, with staff and seasonal campers who make everyone feel welcome. I had high hopes going into this campground based on some feedback, but it didn't quite live up to the camping resort vibe advertised. There were some pros like spacious sites and good fishing, but the overall condition of the facilities and the site itself left a lot to be desired. The entrance and layout were a bit tricky, and the amenities could definitely use a refresh.

I had a great time at Sandy Beach Campground! The spacious sites and clean environment made for a pleasant stay with my family. The area is safe for kids, who enjoyed fishing and riding bikes around. The staff were accommodating, and it was nice to meet friendly campers. However, there were some construction issues that made finding the entrance a bit tricky, and activities seemed limited during our visit. Overall, it was a good spot to relax and spend time with family.
